The volume mix the Bahamas Goombay with Puerto Rican Bomba and Plena, Cuban Son, Mambo or Guaracha with Colombian Gaitas and Cumbias, Calypso from Trinidad and Jamaican Mento, Latino Swing or Cuban Conga with Rhythm'n'Blues from Louisiana. Roots of genres that developed later in time as the Ska, Reggae, Boogaloo, Salsa, Soca, Champeta, Soul or –you name it- Dance Music in general. What we propose is a sonic journey through time and space by islands and ports in the Caribbean Sea. Go on board this cruise, light a cigar (”habano” or whatever you like best), pour yourself a glass, open your senses and let yourself go, sweat and dancing, take another drink ... and don’t stop dancing.

Another one of my favorite AA titles. Snaky, jazzy melodies played over funky rhythms. One of those albums you won't even realize how often you've been playing it. bjlefebvre
